Weight Loss Journey

This has been a crazy month. My weight was up and down and I tried something new that ended up not working well for me. So back to my normal routine.

I loved trying yoga again and it did really help with my flexability. I do reccomend you try to do yoga when trying to lose weight, but depending on the weight you need to lose it should be in addition to what you are already doing. If you only have a few pound to lose then maybe just yoga will work for you.

Unfortunately, even though I loved doing yoga and did notice a few changes in my body doing it. My blood sugar hated me, and that it what really matters right now, so I had to go back to my Zumba for now. Once the weather in Michigan warms up more I’m hoping to start walking as that is what really helps my blood sugar, not just walking a bit but really getting my 10,000 steps in, something that is hard for me right now. Even with my workout I only do about 6,000 a day.

The question is did I lose weight? Well, Take a look. It’s not much, but it’s something.

Now maybe if I had stuck with my Zumba I may have lost more, but it is what it is and at least I am down a few pounds. The best part is I have been able to splurge a bit too. I had Wings and onion rings from buffalo wild wings last night and was still under my calorie count. I did have a salad for lunch though to even out the splurge.
