Weekly Weigh in 10/19/18

This has been a bit of a crazy week, my blood sugar has been averaging in the mid 300’s, yes 300’s. Everyone keeps telling me to get to a doctor, but I’m one of those lucky low income without insurance because I make just too much.

That has meant that I was not able to exercise due to it being too high. Frustrating for sure, what I did try to do is walk slowly to at least try to get it down, drink a ton of water and hope for the best. I do have pills, but I am out of insulin so it’s really just a waiting game.

The good news is it did come down enough on Wednesday and I was able to get a workout in, the bad news, that workout actually made my blood sugar go high, (you can read why here) I was not very happy about it, but I’m trying to look at the long picture, eventually working out will help me, as I lose weight faster then just controlling my diet.

Diabetes is not easy

The good news, I didn’t gain weight, but I didn’t lose any either, yes you are not seeing things in the picture below, I weigh the exact same this week as I did last week!
