It’s that time again, time for me to really start thinking hard about how I want to lose weight. That and time to find my Wii so that I can get my workout in. This week I gained weight, not much, not even a pound, but I didn’t lose and that makes me sad.
I wasn’t surprised though. I have had an off week. I have been so tired, possibly due to the weather and my sleeping schedule is off. I know need to start working out and this weekend between an 18th birthday celebration for my niece and a local festival I will be dedicating the rest of my time to find that Wii.
I do know I can workout without it, but I found something that works for me and I want to get going with that. I have been using my Fitbit to keep myself moving throughout the day, but I’m finding that is just not enough.
I’m also working on a better meal plan, for me food and losing weight could really save my life. I don’t have health insurance as where I work doesn’t offer it and I can’t afford to buy it. I’m diabetic, I need to get control over my blood sugar, I’m already at 35 noticing issues from uncontrolled diabetes. My vision is going crazy, sometimes I see well, sometimes things are a bit blurry. My legs have poor circulation and it’s not getting better.
Truth is I’m a bit scared, I’m only 35, I have been diabetic for 11 years now and it’s something I battle everyday. I’m a type 2 so I can eventually control it with just diet and exercise I hope. For some that is not always the case.
So as you will see below, though I didn’t gain, because of the reason above I still worry, I have alot of planning and things to think about, most of all I need to get myself moving more.
